Pre-Business is a two-year program hosted within UCR’s College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) department to prepare students to apply to the Business Administration major at the School of Business. Students who enter UCR as freshmen initially enroll and are advised in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) with a Pre-Business status. The College breadth requirements and the prerequisites for a Business Administration major are completed during the freshman (year 1) and sophomore years (year 2). An application for a Business Administration major change can be submitted once all admission requirements are satisfied. Upon acceptance, students become Business Administration majors and are then advised in the School of Business, Undergraduate Programs office for their Business Administration major. Visit the CHASS website and use this resource frequently to stay up-to-date on your prerequisite and breadth requirements Pre-Business Program

Find out who your College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) academic advisors are and how you can schedule meetings to stay on top of your prerequisite and breadth requirements.
